Textile Fabricator 📍 Rochdale | 💰 £28,000 + benefits | ⏰ 7:30am–4:00pm (Mon–Fri)
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer for a Textile Fabricator to join their production team. This role is perfect for candidates with hands‑on experience in textile fabrication, industrial sewing, or textile‑based manufacturing, particularly those who have worked with tents/marquees, tarpaulins, luggage, or insulated textile goods.
Role Responsibilities

• Fabricate textile products safely and efficiently
• Interpret basic technical drawings to inspect and audit finished goods
• Measure, cut and assemble textiles with precision
• Perform industrial sewing and operate light industrial equipment
• Work closely with the Technical Department to improve conveyor belt design and performance
• Maintain a safe working environment, follow procedures and use PPE
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal form
• Follow operating procedures and manufacturing instructions
• Provide operational cover across shifts during holidays/absence
• Assist in training new team members to maintain quality KPIs

 
About You

• Experience in textile fabrication, industrial sewing, textile cutting, measuring or textile welding
• Background in tent/marquee production, tarpaulin manufacturing, luggage, or insulated textile goods (highly desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to specification
• Reliable, safety-conscious and a strong team player
